Open-themed competition.
Flash 500 are looking for stories ranging between 1,000 and 3,000 words, with strong characters, a well-crafted plot and realistic dialogue (where used).
This is an annual short story competition: entries close on the last day of February 2025
Entry fee: £7 for one story, £12 for two, £16 for three, £20 for four
Optional critiques: £30 per story
Prizes will be awarded as follows:
First: £500
Second: £200
Third: £100
